I agree with Russ
great video. Since you were apparently at that game, do you have any more Modesto footage?

Wilin Rosario had the night off. I have clips on my camera of Charlie Blackmon drawing a walk, grounding out and striking out. Not the best material of him. I wasn’t filming when Blackmon stole second in the first inning.
I was there doing work for a Rangers site so I couldn’t focus on the Nuts as much as I wanted. I will see the Nuts again sometime down the road.
Here are three more clips of Gomez.

Check that
I do have other clips of Nuts players including Jay Cox’s second inning home run off Michael Main. During the next two days, I will post additional videos in this thread.

Evereth Cabrera on Gomez
Cabrera and friend
The Padres are pleased that the Rockies exposed Single-A shortstop Everth Cabrera to the Rule 5 draft this offseason. For the Padres, Cabrera batted .308 and played error-free defense in 33 innings before fracturing the hamate bone in his left hand last month. "I’m doing some running, not swinging the bat yet," Cabrera said yesterday.
One reason the Rockies exposed Cabrera to the Rule 5 is that they have other middle infielders of promise. One of them is Cabrera’s friend Hector Gomez, 21, who missed most of last season because of an injury and recently joined Single-A Modesto.
"I’ll say this: I think he will be up here in the majors next year," Cabrera said. "He is very talented. He hit two home runs in a game this week. I talk to him a lot. He is a good friend. People say he looks like Hanley Ramirez. I say he is more like (Alfonso) Soriano. He is skinny but strong."
