Hurdle isn’t at fault for our batters’ pathetic ABs…in large part at least. He is responsible for putting together a rotation and lineup that will best yield victories…

Hurdle’s inept. He sits there doing sodukus or junior jumbles or something other than checking his lineup. He’s a perpetual nose picker, makes bizarre lineups, random in-game lineup changes, waits way too dam long with too many sucky pitchers, is to quick to hook good throwers, and has an outdated haircut.
Bring back Baylor! Better yet, launch a coup to get Girardi’s ass here.

Teams know when they can play hardball with us,
And thus far, it hasn’t come back to bite them. In this sense, our talent really is pretty marginal, because if there was more demand for it, we would get more return. I think with the group from Iannetta’s age on down, you’ll start to see the Rockies get more back.

There are exceptions… allowing an unearned run is obvious, or sometimes to do with inherited runners scoring I think.

The pitcher who gives up the lead is saddled with the loss.
If the Rockies come back and tie or take the lead, Hammel is off the hook.
The pitcher who gave up the runs to allow for the last lead change is always on the hook for the loss
even if the runs scored after he left and a reliever allowed them to plate

You can usually pick up 850am on radio after sunset. The later it gets the stronger the signal. I live in Santa Barbara, CA (Spilly’s Spawning Grounds) and can get night games on my car radio. To get the strongest signal I usually have to park across from the elementary school with sunglasses on and a Slurpee, but its not weird.

If you want to pay $10 you can get the MLB app which has the radio feeds for both teams playing. I’ve actually been pretty happy with it and think its worth the $10. Heck, its $10 I won’t be spending on Mtn.Dew, so right there alone its worth it

They need to have some pride...
and overcome this small deficit. That’s something that can be there no matter how much or little talent you have. When the Nuggets get smacked down by another team they respond…everyone was counting them out, but they didn’t listen. It offends those guys when they lose, it used to be that way here.

No one is denying that the record is bad and they're playing terrible.
But when you start pointing fingers at players who aren’t part of the problem, people are going to discount other things you say.

It does suck..
they need more heart among other things. It’s not a problem of fan support…the purple row has a lot more comments than pickaxe and roll (nuggets board, which i love..the board and the team) which is now approaching the third round of the playoffs.

I generally do think that about most of them, with few exceptions.
It is possible to be trying really hard yet still play terribly. Doesn’t excuse the performance, though.
I don't see it as a lack of effort
just a lack of confidence.

I'll agree with that.
Thought it’s a bit tricky. Success breeds confidence, but confidence can also lead to success. So you have to figure out how to get one and then hopefully the other will follow.

I just want them to figure it out together. This team was so bonded as unit before with the belief that any guy on the team could do it on any given night. They need faith that they can pick each other up and succeed together.
