If Todd Helton is at 1999 hits, I might be there Sunday.

I really would want to go, I just don’t know how well it would work with my schedule, but that would make me pull strings on the chance to see him hit #2000.

Well if you show up, I’ll be sittin in 108 on Saturday and 112 Sunday. I’ll probably the only person wearing anything Rockies.

Ah, that's right

I forgot Todd was so close to 2000 hits. I’d like to see it happen at Coors, for obvious reasons, but hit #2000 in the same city he got hit #1 would be kind of symbolic.

Who was where?

Lunchbox, were you sitting in section 9 during the middle innings of the game?

Anybody on here the girl sitting in 110 with the sweet Rockies blanket?

Nope, I was in 108 on Saturday and 112 Sunday.

There were actually a lot more Rockies fans than I expected, which is was really cool. Too bad the Rox couldn’t hold on for either game, though.

Great Park

I don’t really get the Denver-Pitt connection, but I was surprised in a lot of ways by Pittsburgh. It’s a lot nicer than I expected. I drove up from DC and was in section 10 on Sunday. I especially liked the close-up of Ubaldo bunting, and then being lifted from the game for Daley, and then suffering through Hinkse batting twice in an inning, which should serve as a reminder to Hurdle of how pinch hitters work.
