Juan Rincon Signed
I hate to spam like this, but just wanted to say that the Rockies signed Jaun Rincon. The link is to the transaction page at MLB.com. He might be a OK reliever this year, but his stuff isn't that great.

So we signed him as a FA?
What happened with Detroit? Release? When? Can this guy help us?
Baseball players are smarter than football players. How often do you see a baseball team penalized for too many men on the field?

I on't know if he can help us yet
but, i think he will pitch from the pen a little. He might be worth the gamble

I see he was DFA and cleared waivers then refused an assignment to Toledo.
So who will we release to make room for him?

This guy came out of the Mexican League. He is a 5’10 lefty. Are we serious?
Rincon is pretty awful
Good catch with the article, but this is just another Joel Peralta/Randy Flores type move
Matt Murton status: Freed
Garrett Atkins status: Not Traded
Clint Hurdle status: Still Employed by the Rockies
Who was the guy the Rockies saigned last year and then trade to the Orioles for a sub-par prospect?
And coudl we do this with Rincon?

I have had to watch
Juan Rincon pitch for the Twins who are on FSN here all the time, I didn’t think he was very good with then and he hasnt been able to stick to an MLB roster recently.
"I've never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind, the discipline... I firmly believe that any man's finest hour - this greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle, victorious." - Vince Lombardi
Ya I thought the same thing.
If he is signed as a free agent in May, he can’t be that good.
