Actually, I think what needs to be taught...

I know, once the other team scores first
You can safely put in the words “Rockies lose another one” in the piece, once the third inning is over, you can usually put in the Rockies score, and once Matt Belisle warms up, you can start using words like pummeled, brutalized, etc…
Of course, once the lineup card is filled out, you can write “questionable decision by manager Clint Hurdle”, these things practically write themselves.
