For those Matt Murton fans, Murton remains red hot in Triple-A. Murton hit a 2-run double in the first today in Fresno to extend his hitting streak to 29 games, the longest hitting streak in Sky Sox history. Murton had a 13-game hit streak when he was called up in April, and now reeled off 16 more since he was sent down. Is another call-up in his future?

I generally miss the entire game on Sundays, so when I come home I’m always nervous about the result. Because I’m obsessive, I usually open Gameday while squinting and scroll down so I can’t see the top score and quickly go to the first inning. Then I follow along with the PR thread. I usually can’t quite avoid knowing the winner (because whoever is still on deck with when the game ends is right there), but I don’t know how it goes. Anyway, it was fun to follow along.
In other news, BBTN is doing a feature on Torrealba coming up soon. Should be a nice story for Father’s Day.
just got back from a father's day fishing trip
but we brought the radio and listened. Another great game, (closer than i would of liked of course)
sorry for hawpe and stewie going 0-8 with 4Ks and 5 LOB….its cause I played them on my fantasty team.
Regardless, it is a great time to be a rockies fan
