The 2007 Wild Card Tiebreaker on DVD?
Greetings, everyone, my name is Wes and I'm visiting from Athletics Nation. I do so in a spirit of goodwill, though. Yes, the Rockies will be in Oakland this weekend and yes, it wouldn't surprise me if the Rockies thumped the A's all weekend. Nevertheless, I can't help but be in awe of the way the Rockies are playing these days. It's been awhile since I saw a team that looked to be so effortlessly dominant. It's been....oh I don't know....since September of 2007. Yes, I hope the A's are able to play well against the Rockies this weekend, but as a fan of baseball, and not just the A's, it's a lot of fun watching your guys go on another rampage.
Speaking of September 2007, I was wondering if any of you could do me a favor. I know it's been almost two years, but I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the 2007 Wild Card Tiebreaker game? If any of you do, would be at all possible to burn me a copy of the game and put it on a DVD? I realize this is a bit random, but I truly do think that was one of the best games I've ever seen and I would love to be able to watch it again. If it would help at all, I would be more than happy to send a check or Pay Pal some money.
In either event, I thank you you all for at least reading this. Thanks for beating down the Angels tonight (Monday night). Just try and go easy this weekend, eh?

Hi Wes
I’m a Rockies fan in your neck of the woods (assuming you live in the Bay Area), and I’ll actually be going to the game on Friday to cheer on my Rockies. I’ve never been to an A’s game before (been to a few Giants/Rockies games), so it will be a new experience for me.
Anyway, don’t know whether or not this is an option for you, but the tiebreaker game is still available at iTunes. Here’s a direct link.
see I came in here to say this

Did not know this...
now the hours I’m stuck at work NOT downloading this have become oh-so-much longer.

On a side note -
anyone know if 850 KOA has their broadcast of this game anywhere? I don’t think they do, but never know.

Thanks for your help, folks
That iTunes link is a huge help and I look forward to downloading the game when I get home tonight. Oh the joys of watching Trevor Hoffman implode!
Also, Holly, I do indeed live in the Bay Area. The Oakland Coliseum isn’t a terribly exciting venue, and we A’s fans tend to be pretty sparse this year, but it’s still a fun atmosphere. (Far, far, far more enjoyable than Raiders games at any rate.) I’ll most likely be at that game too so let me know if you have any specific questions about seating or food. (My email address is in my profile.) I’m headed to Coors for the first next weekend so I’m looking forward to perusing the diary below mine about out-of-towner advice.
Thanks again, everyone.
