So how many of our former players have been claimed this year?

Baseball players are smarter than football players. How often do you see a baseball team penalized for too many men on the field?

Hmm...JoKo, Grilli, Strop (if you count it as this year), Pods...

So does this tell us anything?

I’m just asking. Are the guys we’re keeping better or is it just a case of different GM’s having different takes on specific players?

Texas bullpen looks decent, actually

But with 6 and 7 man pens, I’m sure most teams are willing to risk a the waiver fee to try out a new guy if they have the roster space.

This

Bullpen arms always seem to be a bit of a merry-go-round. Teams try out different guys who may have faltered somewhere else, hoping they’ll stick.

Man I'm bummed

I liked Grilli. He was having some issues but I really thought he’d turn it around

He wasn't

going to make it through waivers though, especially since he has experienced some success pitching at this level. Good luck to him.

Liked him too.

Glad it wasn’t like Joe K though – at least we got something.
