Atkins in Boston?
MLB Trade Rumors reports that with Mike Lowell on the DL, Nick Johnson and Atkins are potential fits to replace him. Not sure this will happen, but Boston does have a lot of pitching depth that we might be able to tap into, though I doubt they're willing to part with any right now.

you scared the hell out of me, I saw that earlier today too, but I skimmed by your title while clicking on another story and saw “Atkins ** Boston” and couldn’t discern if you had posted “ATKISN TO BOSTON HURRAY” or if you had posted what you actually did.

Wasn’t trying to scare anybody. Thought it was interesting that his name was brought up. Might be a consideration since they have a solid stable of RPs and can easily take on Atkins’ salary. Still doubtful it would happen
