A Perfect Prospect: Brandon Hynick
As brought to you by FanGraphs' Marc Hulet. And yet:
"Hynick is probably not suited to pitching at the Major League level in Colorado...Colorado may be able to get more value out of Hynick in a trade to help the club take a run at the National League wild card...he should fit in nicely on a National League club’s MLB roster as a No. 4 starter."

"#4 starter"
To me, it’s a little goofy to project with that type of precision…what exactly is a #4 starter? How different is he from the #3, or from the #5, esp. if we don’t really know how those are defined?
Anyway, he seems to have a pretty low K rate at AA and AAA, but he looked pretty good at the lower levels so he must have command of something.
