Former Rockie Rodrigo Lopez will start for the Phillies on Friday when they play the Mets. Lopez pitched for the Rockies in 2007 and was solid until he blew out his elbow on July 26. While I have no affinity for the Phillies, I'm glad to see Rodrigo back in the majors and I hope he does great on Friday. Retrospeculation: if Rodrigo and Jason Hirsh hadn't gotten hurt in 2007, where would Ubaldo Jimenez be now?
