Some July Wallpaper Coming Soon!

I wanted to give everyone a brief update. About two weeks ago I fell victim to a bad computer virus (Win32Trojan.TDSS, if you're interested - Google it if you want, it's real nasty), and earlier this week I had to throw in the towel and reformat my computer. So I lost a lot of stuff, most notably my copy of Photoshop. I'm still waiting for my friend that can get me a good Photoshop hookup to come through, which should be on Friday.

tl;dr: Hopefully I can get a July wallpaper done by the end of the holiday weekend for everyone. Thanks for being patient with me! Especially cause this time it wasn't just me being busy and/or lazy :P .

Sorry about the virus

that’s no fun.

But thanks for doing this. I think it was the wallpapers that convinced me to join PurpleRow, so you get the credit (or blame).

Don’t know what you plan is, but if you can add TV info (so i know which games aren’t being televised) without making it too busy that would be helpful to me.

usually do include TV info, but it wouldn’t fit on the June one and since only two games were not being televised I figured I could leave it off. Expect TV info to be back for this month’s :) . And the wallpapers brought you to the site? That’s crazy! I didn’t think they had that much power :) . But I’m glad you’re here whether or not it’s due to the wallpapers.

unable to just restore it to an earlier, pre-virus time?

Reformatting is rough dude, best of luck rebuilding.

The Rockies need some oldschool purple/white striped high socks. The team’s problem is it’s lack of swagger. I feel strongly that these socks will provide the swagger necessary to tap the potential that are the Rockies.

Unfortunately

I discovered that the virus had compromised my System Restore and I couldn’t access any of my old points (even in Safe Mode). I ended up doing the Dell factory reset (surprisingly easy to do, actually) so that the computer was rolled back to when it was shipped to me. All of my files were backed up, but all my programs had to bite the dust.

In a way it was a blessing because I’ve needed to clean the junk programs out of my computer for a while now. This was more like using dynamite instead of a scalpel, but it still worked :) .

I had to do the same to mine about a month ago. Don’t know what the virus was, but it got me good. Windows wouldn’t even load.

I love these wallpapers

I’m pretty sure you guys are aware, but the 11 game win streak started almost the exact same time as the June wallpaper. Coincidence? very likely. either way, the wallpapers are a huge reason i come to the site daily too
