Goldstein on Friedrich
says he has the best curve in the minors. Says with Rogers, Chacin, and Friedrich, Rockies are in good shape with pitching prospects.

nice catch
I wonder if he’s working a good change in there as well. If he can’t be a SINKERBALLER then he needs to at least make like Francis and toss a bitchin’ changeup.

Friedrich dominates through that awesome curve and excellent command of his pitch
I sometimes wonder why he isn’t already in Double AA if nobody can handle his pitches, and is someone isn’t being challenged, they need to put him up against somebody he can.
Oh, and that change-up is actually coming along nicely; it projects to be a plus pitch now, and has an average slider that goes along with it.

Interesting. Maybe he will move up again?
He also has 3 yrs of college experience, though maybe that conference is not considered very competitive.
I could see them preferring him to work on pitches in high A. Though his continued success would suggest that it’s coming along ok.
Leave Dexter alone! You're lucky he even performs for you!
