Why couldn’t it be Kansas City? It’s really gonna suck to run into Holliday/Pujols in the postseason.

It seems for some people everything works out no matter how much they screw up or how many dumb decisions they make. Everything he did to the Rockies and this organization after how far they bent over for him during his minor leagues days was just plain wrong. Yet, somehow, someway he ends up in the absolute best situation imaginable for a player like him.

I for one will boo him big time which is not something I normally do to a player who had been traded away. Holliday wanted out and he got it and now he lands in the best baseball city there is..

If I recall correctly it was the FO who sent Holliday out the door. Holliday’s asking price was not unreasonable considering that a)He was a superstar here, and b) he does have Freaking Scott Boras as his agent. And I don’t know if Holliday wanted out so much as the uncertainty of not knowing if you will stay or be traded away was killing him, as well as the atmosphere in the clubhouse. St Louis is a really good fit for him, and I wish him nothing but the best.
