Pretty good argument for that.
Barmes at second, Fowler and CarGo roaming the outfield, Stewart at third. It’s going to wind up being pretty close to 2007 at least, that’s for sure. I think Tulo’s incredible value individually that year might still tilt it into that season’s favor.

It is one of the most childish
and embarrassing new traditions in all of sports. I would say the same thing if the Rockies had the stupid song, it’s just ridiculous and stupid. Even a lot of the Cubs fans I know hate it.

7th inning question
Today they’re singing God Bless America before take me out to the ball game. They didn’t do that last night or at a previous game I went to. Is there some rule about when they they do it? It seems that in ’07 it was done at every playoff game I went to.

Yankees actually don't allow people to leave the park
during the song. They have security hold people out until it is done. A fan was kicked out of a game for refusing to stay, wanting to use the restroom, and sued the Yanks.

I don’t know if I’d want to go to a game there. There was another game where they had a rain delay, some of the ushers said that the game was canceled, so people left, and then they wouldn’t let them back in once they found out the game was resuming.

Easy to say now after three outs, but most managers look and see that Cook has gone 7, only given up 2 runs, and only thrown 77 pitches and leave him in…but Tracy realized that Lewis/Sandoval/Ishikawa had hit Cook well and didn’t risk letting the game slip away from him and gave him an early exit. Bold move, and it worked out.
