Rockies (and Barmes) Receive Props in SI Baserunning Article
The Albert Chen Sports Illustrated article focuses on Carl Crawford, but it also uses BPro's EqBRR to shed light on the value of non-basestealing baserunning.
The online article mentions Barmes's prowess in this dept and even quotes him. However, it omits the photo and caption that appeared in the print magazine:
"Clint Barmes: Lethal Plodder. The Rockies' middle infielder has average speed but ranks among the NL's top 15 base runners thanks to his ability to take the extra base."

Great read, thanks for linking it :-)
I especially liked how they pointed out the Rox moving up on pitches in the dirt. I noticed that myself, and just figured the pitchers/catchers were screwing up more than in the past.
The FSN guys have pointed to that
saying it has been emphasized from spring training on. They really do seem to be taking advantage of it.
Leave Dexter alone! You're lucky he even performs for you!
runs strictly because of their baserunning (9.6)
Equating this via RAR, that jolt offensively would be equivalent to replacing Billy Butler with Todd Helton.
