A weekday afternoon game against the Nats when we’ve already won the series probably isn’t a major draw for most of the Denver area.
I love Greg Reynolds. Deal with it, suckers.
Day game broadcasts are tricky to get the rights to to begin with.
The Nationals are far from a highlight. Wednesday’s day game in two weels against the Diamondbacks will be televised.

Yes.
Oft-times, other networks purchase the exclusive rights to sports broadcasts during certain hours of the day. This randomly occurs on weekdays as well, and certain stations (wlike FSNRM, who are basically last on the totem poll to buy rights) get the short end of the stick.

I’m sure I’m in minority, but I’m not comfortable trotting Mr. Fowler out there everyday. I know he needs ABs to get better but I can’t help but think he hurts the team by batting leadoff and striking out so much.

I think the Tracy is starting to come around to the same idea hence pinch hitting for him late in the game yesterday. I love his speed, but you can’t still first. He also does not alway take the greatest line to the ball in centerfield. He is better about that than earlier in the season and he can get away with it some because of his speed. Lots of talent and will be really good once he starts figuring things our and making adjustments.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, I just logged in
but the only complaint I have about Tracy is his usage of starters. I think he has them throw way too many pitches and pitches they don’t need to throw either. In a game that is in hand like this was, DLR should have come out after 6, his PC was fairly high and we didn’t need anyone to pitch high leverage innings. If DLR comes in to start the 7th, thats fine, but the first guy to get on and he should be out.
I hope our starters don’t tire in the 2nd half.

This is a totally legit viewpoint...
…but given the shakiness of the BP (except Street) it seems to be a move of necessity. As for me, I’m less worried about fatigue of the starters and more concerned about some improvement from our relivers.
I agree in high leverage innings
it becomes a lot more difficult considering the way the pen has performed, but in a game like this, it is a perfect game to get the starter 6 strong innings and have him hit the showers.

Not sure I'd agree...
The Nats suck something epic, but the Rockies should have at least taken 2 of 3 from the Dbacks (even though they’re on a tear & cruising (6-2 in the 9th) to their 5th win in a row).
