Purple Row Fantasy League End of July Standings
Here's your semi-monthly update of the Purple Row Fantasy Leagues (Rotisserie and Head-to-Head). Here are the June and April standings. With two months left in the season, there's still time to make a move, but that window is quickly closing. If someone from the other PR league that I'm not the commissioner of wants to post their standings in the comments, feel free.
Purple Row Roto
1. EV Bombers: 98.5
2. Jabberwocky: 90
3. Jrockies Diggers: 87
4. Rocktober 2009: 77.5
5. Resolution: 76
6. TheAudacityofHawpe: 69.5
7. U'ballers: 57.5
8. TulosGolden: 51.5
9. UbaldoTryHairBThere: 49
10. Blurn's Ball AllStar: 48.5
11. Mkorpal: 48
12. FlyAway: 26.5
Comments: What was once a two horse race has become more of a dominant performance by the EV Bombers, with the rest of us caught in their impressive wake. I lost five points to the inexorable tide while TheAudacityofHawpe lost seven. Meanwhile, the Jrockies Diggers put themselves back into contention with a 6.5 point improvement, while Rocktober 2009 (the April leaders) rose to fourth place with a strong month.
Purple Row H2H
1. Jabberwocky 96-53-11 .634 -
2. Think Inside the Rox .606 4.5 GB
3. Pioneer Sky Sox .597 6
4. Springfield Isotopes .534 16
5. High Heat!!! .500 21.5
6. Magyarország .491 23
7. NukeLaLoosh Allstars .484 24
8. TuloAllDay .481 24.5
9. Arsenio Billingham .456 28.5
10. Humidor Heros .428 33
11. Manny the Unsignable .416 35
12. Too Low It's Ski .372 42
Comments: The separation between the haves and have-nots has increased in the H2H league, with three teams in serious contention and the rest off the pace. The teams who had the best month were the PS Sox (up .022) and High Heat (up .021), while Magyarország (down .034) and TuloAllDay (down .032) were not so fortunate.
Top July Hitter: Bobby Abreu
Top July Pitcher: Wandy Rodriguez

In all fairness to my team- the Dukes..
The Rockies went on a tear the week I stopped checking on my fantasy team. So I’m willing to sacrifice my team to avoid a jinx. Is that crazy?
…..no it’s not…..

Strategy
Get out of this 14 hr/day class and keep track of moves better. Watch out folks here I come.

My strategy
is to hack everyone’s account and bench their players (or start their bad players).
Virtual Trophy here I come!
The Rockies need some oldschool purple/white striped high socks. The team’s problem is it’s lack of swagger. I feel strongly that these socks will provide the swagger necessary to tap the potential that are the Rockies.
