In 2 weeks time I’m going on holiday to Italy with 9 friends and I’m the only sucker who speaks the language.
I took two years of it in college.
But it’s been forever. I probably can read it a lot better than I could speak it.
My college didn't even offer Italian.
I think French, German, and Spanish were the only foreign languages offered.

I’m not sure about Italy, but in France, they don’t appreciate it too much if you try to speak their language and butcher it.

this is why i love this team
after every loss this year we seem to answer…lose the first game of this series then bam…outscore them 18-1 next 2 games

Facing Josh Johnson. We don’t see Nolasco in the series, though.
We get Johnson, VandenHurk, and Volstad.
VandenHurk’s given up 6 HR’s in 26 innings, 5 of them IN San Diego and Washington, both noted home run yards….
I suspect we’ll have a big pitching advantage in games 2 and 3.
