Time to update the Map: Where are you?
After moving my family from San Diego to St. George, Utah I thought it would be a good idea to update the Purple Row map. Since there are a lot of new actives on Purple Row lately and with people moving around for college now is a good time to post your new location! Powered by Google Maps, our map was adopted after Holly96’s fanpost earlier this year. It shows how far-flung Rockies fans are, from England to South Korea there is a Purple Row of fans covering the globe.
I also thought it would be fun to see some pics of people who have been wearing their Purple Row shirts in public. The Rowbots shown in the picture are from right to left: Russ, Walkoff59, Jcn7vc and Charlie77. JC’s pic is sick, sitting in the Purple Row looking all gangsta. We are close to having enough money to donate to charity, just a couple more shirts people!
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

Hey, you're gonna have to move me.
I start a new job in North Platte, Nebraska as the Sports Director at ESPN 1410 AM on Monday. Just slide me on over from Wyoming to western Nebraska.
Staying on the sunny side of Blake Street since 1993.

Working for Espn and moving from Wyoming to Nebraska? You’re slowly becoming part of the east coast bias!

Ha ha
Thanks. I think since I’m still going to be talking about the Rockies and Broncos regularly, I’m a long way from any bias yet, but I’ve hopefully got a long career ahead of me, and if I end up in a place where they pay me a lot of money to do a show about “YANKEES YANKEES COWBOYS BRETT FAVRE PATRIOTS RED SOX YANKEES RED SOX”… well, it’d better be a LOT of money!

There’s more passion for pro sports in Nebraska than even I realized, although the Huskers are still king by a large margin. And there’s high school and JuCo sports in the area, too, of course.

Congratulations!
I was going to say “except for the Nebraska” part, but then you get to leave Wyoming. :-)
Seriously, well done, hope it’s everything you want it to be and more.

Whether I'm sitting at the top of the stadium or the top of the world,
it’s a good time to be watching the Rockies right now. And a big thanks to my sister for taking that sweet pic.
Thanks for making these awesome shirts! You should all go out and get one if you are a true Rockies fan!

Thanks Charlie,
I love Pt. Loma…I used to drive inland to Carmel Mountain for work until I was laid off. Every day driving home, as soon as I hit the 5 and 8 and could see the ocean…breath of fresh air…and reinvigorating.
I can imagine it was difficult to leave, I’m considering moving back to Denver, but its a tough decision…
Good luck in St George!
I used to live in Carmel Mountain!

Okay, I finally bought a shirt!
Hope it fits. I don’t like them too baggy but I also don’t like them tight across the shoulder so the arms stick out sideways like little fins (like my Rockies shirt does).
I got the black one with the picture of the purple row on it. Woot!

The Rockies need some oldschool purple/white striped high socks. The team’s problem is it’s lack of swagger. I feel strongly that these socks will provide the swagger necessary to tap the potential that are the Rockies.

I want to get a shirt, but not sure what size to get.
Do they run big, small, pre-shrunk or not?
Mine didn't shrink either, although..
I heard Russ’ shirt is smaller due to his increased muscles. I suspect Andro though.
