Purple Row Prediction Competition: Week 17
This week the Rockies play six games--three at the NL East leading Phillies and three at home against the Cubs. Here's the Rockies' schedule--Jason Hammel will pitch twice.
We have a new leader in the PRPC for the first time in a long while--me (by one point)! On the strength of a correct CP, Holly had a strong 15 point week to pace the competition.

Thank god my CP was false
Hammel was awesome.
I would like to see Chacin get in on more action though than do mop-up duty, I mean really, we actually trusted Rincon for a while, we can’t trust Chacin?

Since I tally points on Sunday night, all predictions are for that week's games...
CP—achieved.
Eschew Obfuscation!
I wasn't expecting to achieve it in a single game.
In fact, I’ve been kind of pessimistic about this series all week. I will be reverting back to unwavering optimism now.
I'm behind first prediction
8/4, Rox 7 – Phillies 6, WP – Chacin
8/5, Phillies 8 – Rox 2, WP – Happ

J - how do you keep score?
Is there a list of how points are scored somewhere? Probably in the archives huh.
I believe it's 1 points for the correct result, 2 points for the WP, 3 points for the score, and 5 for CP.
Or something like that, I might be slightly off.
Archives they are
but so you don’t have to look it up it’s here

Thanks for looking it up.
I think the number of points for correct score was changed at some point, wasn’t it? After it was decided that guessing the actual score should be worth more because it’s so hard?
It's possible
I just come in and say what I think and leave (and come back and read all the crazy predictions).

It started as
a lack of time to put any thought into my predictions. When it vaulted me to the top of the standings, I stuck with it.
