no I wasn't trying to troll anything
but one said hits are good…..then doubles, triples and homers are nice too…like they weren’t hits…..I was just pointing out that those are also hits. I wasn’t trying to start jack.

That comment wasn't directed at you at all
I know XBH are hits. It just seems like we’ve been getting a lot of singles lately, except for the Barmes and CarGo home runs. Just trying to express my pleasure at some slugging.

Wrong thing to say to Redhawk tonight.
I don’t know if you could have known that without going through the PuRPs thread though, and I deleted a couple of comments that would have made it more clear to take caution.
That guy is ridiculous.

I have to say that I didn't appreciate you going in and trying to stir him up again
After I told people to back off. I deleted that last comment of yours in that thread too because I want cooler heads here tonight, or at least by tomorrow. I hope I can go to sleep tonight and not have to worry about a flame war erupting while I’m away.
I saw your comment after I posted.
But either way, no worries.

is it out of the question
for morales to be able to stretch out enough during the next few days to take cook’s next start?
FSN said Tracy was not considering this option

That is ridiculous, Morales' stuff gives him a great chance to dominate
and we may need someone for the rest of the year

be stretched out enough for a quality start in a month…

Two lefties
in the bullpen is a good idea, especially since one can cover more than one inning and blow guys away. Beimel is the late inning guy.

Not enough time to stretch him out.
The guy hasn’t pitched more than 40 pitches since being called up to the pen, which was ages ago. It simply isn’t physically possible unless we want at best 3 innings from our starter.

Morales has been a godsend in the pen
No way that a solid lefty reliever should be pushed into the rotation in the
middle of a pennant race.
He’s been successful at what he’s doing. He needs to keep doing it.
Remember a guy who wasn’t very good as a starting pitcher who turned into an excellent 8th-inning reliever? Taylor Buchholz.
Morales can do the same.
I’m not saying he can’t be a starter later in his career.
Just not this year. Keep him in th pen for now.
No records in the last 10 years should count.
I would be ok if it was for the remainder of this year only
and if we look at Chacin or Rogers, even Hynick, not Fogg or Eaton
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
Agreed
I think we know what we’ll get out of Fogg or Eaton.
I’d prefer to take a roll on Chacin.
It’s tempting to wait until Sept. callups for him, but what’s the chance he’s going to need to be optioned back & forth a lot in future years?
I don’t think so. I predict he’s here to stay next year.
No records in the last 10 years should count.

Minor League Updates for anyone that cares
Esmil Rogers, not a good night in CSC giving up 5 in 4 innings, 4 BB’s
Weiser, 7 IP, no runs, 3 hits, only 1 K, but Tulsa won and is now in sole possession of 1st place
Freidrich in a pitcher’s duel, he’s gone 4 IP, 2 hits, 5 K’s, no runs
