Rockies Playoff Ticket Thread
This thread is for discussing ticket situations for the playoffs. It is NOT for haggling online about ticket prices. Please use emails that are posted on user profiles to communicate specifics.
Instead, use it as a jumping off point to let your fellow Rowbots know if you have extra tickets to the NLDS (and hopefully beyond) and as a forum where we can get as many PR denizens to the games as humanly possible (the more intelligent, hardcore fans present in the NLDS, the better).
You can even use it to announce where your tickets are located to set up a pregame meeting place for Rowbots should that be desired. Go crazy people.
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

I have received a couple of requests for the code in my email
but I promised tickets to you yesterday. So it’s your call, PF.
I would be willing to purchase all 3 games and eat the fees
But I can’t go to the Sunday game, maybe we could work out an arrangement?
Rawktober emailed me 2 minutes before you did, unfortunately
Can we work something out so everyone can go?
If PF doesn't want them
I would take the Sunday game and Roberbola could take Sat.
Patrick Saunders: I think Kruk is lazy.
Cool beans
Thanks. I’d be willing to eat the non-refundable game 3 fees as a gesture of thanks.
By the way, does this code guarantee tickets?
Okay
Roberbola, code is being emailed as we speak. PF, I still have a ticket reserved for you for both games from my purchase, if you want them.
Awesome
Thank you both. Roberbola, I prefer the pavillion seats, but it’s on your dime, so I’ll take whatever you get. Hit the email in my profile and we can settle up.
Patrick Saunders: I think Kruk is lazy.
Ok, purchasing now
I’ll let you know how it goes.
Thanks...I probably will

No, the code guarantees nothing
It is only good until 9pm, or supplies last. I woule purchase tickets quickly.
I asked this elsewhere
do we get the fee back on the 3rd game which isn’t gonna happen?
Seems like crap that we’d have to pay that fee on a game that has like a .05% chance of happening.

But from experience with refunded concert tickets in the past, fees are not refundable. I don’t know how fair it is, but considering the fact that the costs of this round aren’t astronomical, I don’t mind paying that little bit more. I’ll just pass it on to my friends we take to the game

Sort of off topic, but not really...
I’m coming out for the playoff games (assuming the Rox make it). In addition to attending those, I’m also attending the Utah/CSU game as well as the Patriots/Broncos game (which I’m not thrilled about, but I’m making the trip with a HUGE Pats fan). While I already have tix to the college football game, I am in dire need of cheap tix to the Broncs game (not to mention NLDS tickets, but that’s another story).
Any of you Coloradoans know of anywhere I can get two tickets for the Broncos game for about $100 total? Probably wishful thinking, but I figured I’d try.

Good luck
That game is in pretty high demand, you would be lucky to pay $100 per ticket, let alone for two.
Yeah, that's what I've been seeing :(
Hopefully the Broncos lose a couple games before then and I can buy one off the street for cheaper when I get out there.

You could try the Broncos ticket exchange
That’s where season ticket holders put up availability on their seats if they’re not going to make the game. The Broncos take them and make them available for face value, so no scalpers taking all your money and jacking up the price. And the season ticket holder gets the money credited towards their account. It’s a pretty sweet system actually.
Broncos Ticket Exchange Link
Hope you can find some good seats!

Oh, check that
Apparently they CAN be resold for higher than face value. But it’s still a good way to get access to season ticket areas that may not be normally available at the box office.

What happens if multiple people try to use the same ticket?
With the email delivery option it’s possible that someone could print multiple copies of the same ticket.
Whether by honest error or evil intent, it’s possible that two or even more people could show up at the gate with the same ticket.
In practical terms, that probably means if we’re buying a ticket from someone we don’t know, we’d probably want it to be the traditional ticket, not the print-at-home version.
Somewhat related to the original question, isn’t there a setting on Adobe that allows a document to be printed just once? Even if there is, I guess it probably wouldn’t help, since color scanners, printers and copiers are so readily available.
I’m guessing that the scanners at the gate would reveal someone had already used a ticket when a person tries to gain entry with a duplicate, but it seems like the potential is there for a real mess.
I know some of the Rox’ materials stress the importance of buying only through the Rockies or their partners, i.e., Stub Hub. In some ways that sounds almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy, though.
I just got picked for the Fourth round
Anybody need tickets? You are more than welcome to the code.

I got picked for the fourth round as well.
I have a code.

Please Please Please
Can I have the code?
I really would appreciate a code!
Somehow, I got passed on all 4 rounds! If you still have it, I would love it!
I'm actually waiting to see if my family might want it.
So if RockiesMagicNumber or Lodo Magic Man are around, you can take theirs.
Another thing I should mention to all, if my family wants the code, they won’t be able to use the Sunday tickets. So if someone here wanted them, they could maybe have them.
my pleasure, best of luck!

Woohoo!!!
In theory, I’ve got tix for both NLDS games via the 4th round ticket sales. My extended family will probably claim the extras but if I have any I’ll certainly post here…
I can't decide whether I'm hungry or just really tired.
oh, and thank you Rockies
for making the first round of playoff tickets purchasing pretty much pain free. I went to the login page at 8:58 am, got the sign in form at 9:00 am and had tix by 9:05 am!
After the WS fiasco, I was expecting to have to wait some interminable amount of time and then be told there wern’t any tix left — which would have made me a sad panda indeed.
(I did manage to get NLCS tix in 2007 because I believed and bought them way early :)
I can't decide whether I'm hungry or just really tired.
If you do end up with extras, there's a chance I may want to get a ticket for the first home NLDS game
I got tix for the 2nd, but gave my code to someone else in the 3rd round of drawings…

certainly
however, my tix for the first game are in the Upper Rightfield Reserved section (i.e. nosebleeds) so you may want to find a better spot…
I can't decide whether I'm hungry or just really tired.
I'll certainly keep that in mind
Obviously, I’ll try to get the best seat I can (it would be just for me), and it may not even work out for me to go, but I appreciate the possibility.

Unable to secure seats . . . .
2nd round I kept getting that message when I tried any specific category. Eventually clicked on Best Available and got the nosebleeds.
It worked
Thank you so much shadow penguin. I bought 3 individuals and accidentally got two same seat, same section, just two rows apart. So i can pretty much sit with my girlfriend! Thank you so much!

Did anybody else get a code for the family section NLDS sale today?
Got a code, sale started at 1. By the time it accepted one of my answers to the stupid “what letters and numbers are these that you can’t read?” security tag all I’ve been able to get is “unable to find tickets at this price level”. Appears they were sold out by 1:05 or so. (Which is unsurprising since the sale is apparently for one section, but disappointing nonetheless…)
Anyone else have tickets for the weekend games?
I would LOVE to go to the game on the 10th or the 11th, and I will drive from Oklahoma to Denver to do so. Does anyone still have tickets available?
mezzaninnne!
hey guys, i know this is probably pointless to ask, but i got third deck seats, section U333, and i looove the mezzanine. would anyone with mezzanine seats be willing to trade for mine, plus the extra cash for the face value?
just thought i’d try:)
Holy Crap
I posted a few days ago that I probably would not get to go to any playoff games but that was OK because I did not buy season tickets or a ticket package. Then a couple of days ago my wife came up with TWO TICKETS TO SATURDAYS GAME….holy crap…. I am going with my mother-in-law, but if you knew my mother-in-law you would know that going to a baseball game with her is cool. She is as crazy as the rest of us, and usually buys me at least a beer or two!!! Go ROX!!!!!
What if the hokey pokey is what it is all about after all????
Possibly looking for ONE ticket to Saturday's game, can trade ONE ticket to Sunday's game
I have two tix to Sunday’s game (Section 145, Row 22), and the person who was going to go with me can’t go now.
But I have no tickets to Saturday’s game.
What I’d really like to do is trade one of my tickets to Sunday’s game for a ticket to Saturday’s game. The only downside I can see is, that person would have to put up with sitting next to me on Sunday.

So if it is singles I’ll probably not buy – don’t want to get stuck with tix that I can’t unload.

It may not necessarily be singles
It could be some last-minute tickets that were being reserved and not used, or last-minute returns by season ticket holders.

FYI
For those of you that do not have tickets to Game 4, there are alot of pretty cheap tickets on Stubhub still. I imagine if the Rockies can win game 2, that they won’t stay cheap.
Four Tickets Available for Saturday, Sec. 329 Row 20
Cost is $32.00 each, can sell all four, or possibly sets of two.
Some of the baseball scholars here said that Row 20 is literally, “the PUrple Row,” and you can still get ’em at face value.
Post here or try email to the address on my profile. I’m in Colorado Springs, so could get you the tickets here prior to mid-afternoon Saturday. Another possibility is outside the gates shortly before game time. If you have questions or need to talk I’ll provide a phone number.
Got the momentum going back in the right direction today; should continue Saturday.
Anybody have an extra single for Saturday's game?
Also, I’m looking for NLCS tix, at least two per game, price isn’t an issue. I took vacation for Rockies playoff’s, so I won’t cancel on you promise.

Damn snow
Unless the forecast improves, it looks like I may not be able to make it to the game Saturday.
If anyone has an NLCS code you’re not going to use, please email me.
I will have extra NLCS tickets
not code, tickets.

I would like one, if you can.
Never give up, never surrender.
I'm waiting for the tickets to get delivered
and then I’ll go about divvying the ones spoken for before these posts. I’m sure you’ll be good for one or two.

I will also probably have extra NLCS tickets...
in two or three blocks of three depending on familial demand—I’d prefer for one person to buy at least block of three should they be available (and they should).

I will email you after Sunday's game, when I should know what I'm doing with my tickets.
Eschew Obfuscation!
I will buy a block if you still have an extra.

I would only need tickets for two people (my mom and I)...
but if you had an extra block, we would certainly be grateful and good for our word/money. Thanks for the consideration. :) troytrevor4ever@gmail.com

ticket password sharing
Has anyone used a code provided by someone else? The registration page says that that the registrant’s address must match the credit card address. I have an NLCS code from my brother but don’t know if I should use his credit card or my own. An answer before 11am would be appreciated! Thanks!
You should be fine to use your own address.
I gave away three codes for the NLDS and no one had any issue.

4 tickets for game 4...
My friends suggested meeting at the Giggling Grizzly at 4pm Satruday. I just signed up here so you guys probably don’t know me, but I may have 4 extra tickets for NLDS Game 4 (U340, 1 row above the purple). I have a waffling friend who hasn’t said yes yet. If anyone is interested, find me there. I will be the one wearing a goatee and my green St Patrick’s Rockies hat (see my profile picture). You can email me to arrange in advance if you want.
2 club level tickets game 3 and 4 club level tickets game 4
I have these extra tickets. I will be at both games so i can meet somewhere before hand. Let me know if you interested
