I'm just not sure Marquis or even the other players would look at it like that.
It might rub a lot of guys the wrong way, no matter what Marquis has done lately. I’d be really surprised if he was left off the roster.

I can't believe i'm saying this, but i agree.
I wasn’t impressed with Marquis tonight. He was inches from getting run early in the game and, despite the fact that he settled down a bit, he got hit HARD in those early innings (when he wasn’t walking people). Fortunately most were hit right at our outfielders.

I walked in the door and turned on the game tonight to see Kendall’s homer. Quickly turned the channel and damn near forgot about the game once Slap Shot started on VS. (“She underlines the sex scenes for ya?”)
Then during a commerical happened across the final score. Hurried to MLB.com to see the highlight. Sweet Mother of God, I’m going to sleep better tonight than I have in the last couple of days.
God bless Jorge Cantu, Leo Nunez, Matt Belisle, and especially that underachieving son of a bitch Chris Iannetta, who is forgiven for a whole season of disappointment with that one swing. God bless us, everyone.
