look at his tail. Just…just look at it. Then do a free association and see what it reminds you of.

I like the idea, but it's too Yankee-ish.

I’m already pissed we’re growing ivy on the batters’ eye at Coors.

Yeah, not sure how I feel about that.

I’d rather not steal traditions from the Cubs if we’d like to win a World Series someday.

An out away from sports euphoria

days where all your sports teams win are too rare

if you're reading this, it means my undying support for your team will result in its failure.

Sweet!

My baseball team won, and my college football team paid too much money to beat the snot out of some poor defenseless (literally) 1-AA team!

All in all...

A good week for Colorado sports.

LOL

I was actually referring to Northwestern, but now I think about it, you’re right.

by Foxhole Atheist on Sep 5, 2009 8:39 PM MDT up reply actions

Heh.

AFA did the same, so you see my point. And the Broncos may actually have a chance to be decent this year. Which is more than I expected after this weird off-season.

by Duncan1800 on Sep 5, 2009 8:43 PM MDT up reply actions

LOL.

I’m just glad they’ve got competition for worst mess in the division. If SD doesn’t have that thing wrapped up in November, it will be a huge surprise.

You must be speaking of

No, no.

Denver, too. I don’t think we have a prayer against the Chargers, but the Raiders and Chiefs are gradually imploding themselves already. So we’re in better shape than we were a few weeks ago.

Gotta love Boise State, though – they’re gonna be fired up after the “antics” of that first game.

Good win.. I hope Rockies run up score tomorrow, so that Morales can take a well deserved break…

I can't wait for tomorrow

The odds are so ridiculously stacked against the Dbacks, with Petit and his absurdly high HR/9 pitching here and DLR going tomorrow, who pitches well when he doesn’t even have his command. Sweep coming?

I was worried about this game...

But thanks for a great send-off, Rox! By the time the game is over tomorrow, I’ll be in New York. I realize I’ve been talking about that a lot, but to be honest, I’ve kind of felt like I’ve been in purgatory this summer and getting back to school will be great.

Moving on from that…let’s get the sweep tomorrow!
