I've already gotten lectured for being on Gameday during a computing lab.
My TA clearly does not grasp the importance of September baseball.
Perhaps I should design a spreadsheet to demonstrate it to him.
I would never give a student a hard time when I was a TA
unless they were cheering for the Dodgers, Yanks, Red Sox, or Padres (they were good that year)

why don't you think we could rely on EY?
if his offense makes up for his defensive shortcomings and he’s a greater contributor than barmes, then the team is better when EY is on the field. i don’t see any reason he couldn’t start every third or fourth game for a while, and earn more playing time if he deserves it. if he’s a complete disaster then you’re just back at square one with barmes.

Fowler made the team in spring training. CarGo was called up, and was TERRIBLE for a couple months.
I guess my position is that if you put EYJ in, he’s gonna be really bad before he learns and gets better. And being bad and learning isn’t ideal for a playoff race.
