For WC, florida is the only team that gained on us today
so that is the only good thing.. it all goes back to Tracy not taking out Hammel after the first double
I agree.
I think his biggest fault is his reluctance to pull the starting pitcher. He always wants to boost the guy’s confidence. Sometimes you just need to get the win.
I don't fault Tracy here at all
Hammel was truly cruising, and even had a low pitch count coming into the 8th. Though I suppose I have someone warm and pull him after the first double. But really, he’d pitched so well and so efficiently, that it’s hard to quibble.
The real problem here today was Betancourt/Beimel not doing their jobs too well.
