SB Nation Announcement
SBNation.com will seek to do on a national level what each SB Nation network blog already does for its team or sport: provide the most timely, engaging and highest quality fan perspective information and conversation on the web.
In other words, the SB Nation home page recently underwent a major redesign with the aim to provide you not only with the quality content that each and every SB Nation community offers, but with stories from all around the web. SBNation.com should be your one-stop shop for any and all sports news now. You can find out more here.

Are they still working on the cutover?
Or do you no longer get to configure the number of fanposts/fanshots that show on the front page? I’m seeing much fewer now (looks like 5 of each is the new default?)
Leave Dexter alone! You're lucky he even performs for you!
Not that I'm aware of.
Have you checked your settings for that?

They're still set to 15
When the fanshots/fanposts started picking up this summer, I increased the number.

Hmm, and they're not even all Purple Row fanshots/fanposts

FanPosts and Shots aren't part of the
SBNation homepage.

Oh wait, I see
I thought the Purple Row design changed as well. I clicked through from SBNation to the Colorado Rockies entry, saw all the PR stuff, and though they redesigned PR’s home page, too.
Now I see. It’s a different page. http://www.sbnation.com/mlb/teams/COL != http://www.purplerow.com.

Nice.
I hope they keep the simple, non-flashy design. If so, it could be the first general sports web site I actually have as a book mark.
And if you haven't
noticed those new ads on the sides of the site, Showtime and the NFL Network are just some of the heavy hitters we’ve got buying ad space across the network.

No, you're right
I keep having to explain this to everyone: when the Rockies are in a pennant chase, there are no other sports.
