As discussed on today's Rockpile, here's an outlet for all our sharing community spirit/exhibitionism. Rox Girl may not be joining us, but that doesn't mean you should stay away.
I hear a rumour that there's a pic out there of Russ dressed up as Wonderwoman, and if that doesn't pique your interest you're not a pervert you must be dead inside. And just imagine what RMN might post. Actually, probably best you don't.
So, promote yourself shamelessly!

so I don’t put as much stock in WAR as some. I don’t think there is anything BETTER than UZR out there, but I still don’t like it much.

I got pulled over at 1am a couple years ago while driving home from my girl’s apt. The cop ran my record and informed me that I had 16 restraining orders on my record all from girls in Loveland, all filed in the previous 12 months. I hadn’t been to Loveland in almost two years. Turns out the guy was either bored, had a twisted sense of humor, or was completely incompetent

You upload a pic to the internet via a site like flickr or photobucket
Or you link to an existing photo of you already on the net.
You then cut and paste into this box (not the post title box, but the big one) the url of the photo, with a ! immediately before and immediately after the url.

Well, its kinda sad...but
She started having kidney failure and really wanted to go out for an hour in the evenings. I usually wouldn’t do that but, bless her little Kitty(her name was Kitty) heart, I had to give her subcutaneous injections to keep her fluids proper. So because she was being such a good little patient, I let her out. She would bring back dead mice etc.
Well, one Saturday she would not leave my side all day. Around 11:00 she wanted out.
And never saw her again. I"m convinced to this day she was saying goodbye, and went off to die. Either that or the coyotes got her.. but I’m okay with both options…

My name is Gus Sinskee, I caught for the Detroit Tigers for many years, played ball with some guy named Billy Chappel who turned out to be Kevin Costner. I know i was shocked too, but he has a decent hook and one magic day in New York in September, same day Costner’s girl left to go marry John Travolta, I legged out my first double since the Reagan era and Costner/Chappy tossed a perfect and then I got totally smashed that night with him and last thing I rember was Chappy taking me back to my room.
Oh yeah, my manager was the guy from OZ and I Love You Man. Except he had a rockin ’stache.

I was there
unfortunatly i missed the first few innings and didn’t get to see Heldog’s 500th. i remember he hit a big home run in the bullpens late in that game.
If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving infant's life, she will choose to save the infant's life without even considering if there is a man on base.
I was in class during this game
(actually I was in lab) and when I got out 5 people instantly told me what had happened and I was so disappointed not to have seen it. Then my mom called and said she watched it and the day couldn’t have gotten much worse except for the fact that I had a 20 minute presentation on the lab results from that day due the next day.

Suburban wildlife
My family lives a couple blocks from Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge, which is the smallest urban unit in the system. What’s cool about it is that it was originally privately owned and was used as a horse pasture when I was a kid. In 1990 a local citizen’s group saved it from development. There’s always been all kinds of wildlife around, even deer.
My ex had an oversized Pomeranian
and while walking along Spring Creek trail in Fort Collins, we met a fox mother with a small litter. They just stared at each other forever trying to decide if they were the same animal.

Love this guy
Living near the base of Green Mountain, foxes are regular visitors in my neighborhood. I love seeing them as they are such beautiful creatures. There’s now a fox living in the field next to my office. How he/she manages the traffic around there I can’t say, but I see it at least once a day.

This is my dad (Deltafan) and I. He doesn’t post on here often, but he loves to read RG’s articles.
I’m not really that short, my dad’s just a giant!! He’s a legend at Delta HS where he’s tied for the highest career average in history. The story is that he needed one hit on the last day of his senior season and went 0-3 against Montrose.

Yes. Four of them. I have four more of the feline variety. From L-R….Willie, Lilly, Afleet Alex & Jackie. Yep….two are named after baseball players, one after a horse and one after a beautiful flower.
Willie was just added on New Years’ Eve and it was a challenge getting them to sit together.
All are rescues.

The funnest program at my school by far.
We have plenty of field trips here, and we do a variety of sports (dodgeball, basketball, volleyball) and go on little trips around the Valley to play with other JROTCs. There’s tons of fun stuff.

Here’s what I don’t get. Tons of people see you every day, most of whom you don’t know. When you drive your car, walk down the street, go to the supermarket, there are a ton of people that you’ve never met that see your face. They might be weirdos, but seeing your face doesn’t give them any power over you. Putting your picture on the internet won’t give anyone access to you. No one can do anything to you because they saw your picture on an internet forum, particularly if they don’t know where you live (outside of a general city location).

Actually I have no idea what the game’s called – it’s when one person guesses/tries to find something, and depending on how close they are, you say “you’re cold, now you’re warm, getting warmer, warmer, colder, now you’re really hot”?
Anyway – what we do is post photos of women and SD Cat has to tell us whether we’re warm or cool or whatever. Eventually we’ll find a photo that looks so much like her, we’ll know what she looks like without her having to post a pic!

I've been there, too.
I didn’t really get anything, other than feeling somber in a few places. It’s sort of strange, because overall it’s really beautiful, but at the same time it has this violent history.
Had we stayed late enough,
we might have encountered the ghosts of Gettysburg.
Interesting side note, the head of the history department had an ancestor participate in the battle (and much of the Civil War): Gouverneur K. Warren. The resemblance between the two is uncanny.
