Around SBN: Watch Out For Cowboys UDFA Tim Benford

Anthony Jackson is a 26-year-old outfielder who hit .251/.351/.325 with 33 stolen bases in 2010 in his second season at AA Tulsa. He was the Rockies' 16th round pick in 2006 and owns a career minor league OPS of .670. Translation: this is not a PTBNL to fret over losing, even if he is apparently worth James McDonald and Andrew Lambo

Well,

if Jackson is the guy they settled on, I wonder who else was on the list.

But Alan Johnson

would send the Dodgers to the World Series! Clearly no one in the Dodgers’ org. wants to win.

Yep,

Alan Johnson will be the cornerstone of the Marlins’ third World Series victory.

This pretty much sums it up.

The best part about this trade as I won’t keep accidentally referring to him as Austin Jackson in Pebble Reports anymore.

Just an average guy with exceptional hair. Nothing more, nothing less.

Whoa

My heart started racing when I saw ROCKIES TRADE

I thought it was for Conor Jackson lol.

Yeah, my username says it all.

If we acquire Jackson, it'll likely be through free agency after being non-tendered.

The DeJesus acquisition makes this even more likely.
