~ The 'no' button. Because desperate times call for desperate measures.

McKenry can hang around for a while
there’s plenty of other options out there though, ranging from VMart to Torrealba. My gut is that they just sick with what we have and give CDI his chance, but who knows.

From Renck:
Miguel Olivo wanted me to let the fans know how much he appreciated your support. He truly enjoyed time in Denver
Class act, and tough as nails
I know he’s not the future, but he sure did provide us some really cool moments during 2010, aside from his 2nd half batting slump….he’s far far far from the worst backstop we’ve ever employed on this club.
So let's just win 12 more games next year, mmmkay?
Will the Gints complain about the non-humidor balls in Citizens Bank Ballpark when they lose there, too?
Clever way to acquire a draft pick.

So, here is how it went down
the Blue Jays traded a player, who will be selected from a list of players sometime in the future for a catcher, who they had 1 and a half hours to determine if they want to keep. They declined, paying the catcher 500k. Now they need to determine if they want to offer arbitration. If they don’t, they will essentially send a prospect and pay the Rockies 500K. If they do, the catcher needs to decide if he wants to accept and have an arbitrator determine the value of a one year contract which can not be traded for a certain amount of time, which will cost more than if the option was originally. If he declines, they will receive a draft pick in the 35-50 range.
That just about explains it.
sounds about right
With those who don't give a damn about baseball, I can only sympathize. I do not resent them. I am even willing to concede that many of them are physically clean, good to their mothers and in favor of world peace. But while the game is on, I can't think of anything to say to them. ~Art Hill

So the Blue Jays kinda figured out how to trade for draft picks
clever…
Clint Barmes is not a good hitter.
Free Chris Nelson.... again.
They just have to hope Olivo plays their game
If he accepts arbitration, he’ll get a buyout AND a raise. That doesn’t sound so bad.

Now I think we can be reasonably sure O'Dowd is targeting a catcher
