I love Mora's kids.
The children gave him their opinion in five-part harmony. “They started singing, ’Let’s go Rockies,’” Mora said.
Let's go ahead and book them to throw out the first pitch...
for game one of the World Series at Coors Field, this October!
Ignorance of the American League is a sign of good moral character.
Look out Dodgers...Purple objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
If anyone wants a laugh
read this blog entry, Ranking the offseasons. The Rockies are ranked 24th, behind such winners as the Cubs, Mets and Astros.
The reason?
Colorado failed to add a single starter, either position player or pitcher, and downgraded their bench (Atkins to Mora, Torrealba to Olivo)
I hate the internet.
Attention Whore.
Apparently Betancourt was too many years, but Holliday wasn't

That article is complete BS (except for the Royals being last part)
The AL bias is nauseating. Top five teams is a bit much for me.
Oh and the Angels 11th? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!……………..oh wait? You’re serious?
Of course the Red Sox are first because apparently they win every offseason. No matter what boy genius Theo Epstein does he seems to praised for it. (I’m not saying I don’t think they did a good job, I just don’t think they had the best offseason)
And since when did signing Mark DeRosa, Aubrey Huff, and Bengie Molina equate to “going for it now”?
Total crap.

Not sure why this is so bad
We weren’t trying to “win” the offseason. I haven’t read this article, but I assume its trying to rank those who made moves relative to where they were last season. We didn’t really do anything to “improve” (lets be real about the moves referenced, almost entirely financially motivated) and we are taking an on-paper risk re Marquis/Francis. But so what? I’d be fine being 30th on this list, it means our team didn’t require much movement. We didn’t do anything, and it was the best thing we could’ve done (realistically). I don’t know if the Olivo/Mora moves are upgrades or not, we’ll see. Maybe they will be huge moves in reality, but on paper they are not. Ho hum. Power rankings will be a different story.
Agree
Who cares if the Rox win the off-season. The Rox are planning on winning the regular and post season.

I would be amazed if 3 of these teams don’t go over (which would make me a winner gioven equal bets), and think all 5 out performing is the most likely event.

the Gints would have to replicate last year's pitching to come close, their offense is NOT improved
and any money you bet on the Snakes would be dead weight until you find out how Webb’s shoulder holds up.

Ok, but they could be 4 games worse than last year, and this bet would still pay
Same with the Padres.
D-backs is probably the biggest streatch, so I’ll agree with you there.
I suppose I should drop the Dodgers, since our Rockies are going to OWN them this year!

Not too much information. Just talks about him throwing in batting practice and once again proves that whenever an article is writen about another Rockies player the author must include at least one paragraph about what Tuo thinks.
