Rockies fans...get what Foxsports.com Fantasy 2010 Guide says...
These quotes are to make any Rockies fan fired up for the 2010 season, don't these idoits learn from previous years....here are the quotes from Foxsports.com 2010 Scout & Prospect Guide:
First of all, Todd Helton, what more does this man have to do in his career to gain ANY repsect.
Todd Helton Ranks 23rd in MLB First Basemen "Has struggled with ailemnts have taken a backseat recently and could again finish as afterthoughts" -- REALLY the guy hit .325 15 HR 86 RBI in NO way is that an afterthought, just because he doesn't hit 40 Home Runs anymore doesn't make him any less of a player. Acutally he was the best fielding first basemen in the league or does HRs and RBIs also help with gold glove awards. He only won awards when he hit 35+ HRs...I smell fish here.
Foxsports.com places Ian Stewart playing SECOND BASE & THIRD BASE...he 16th at Second Base (where he will play ZERO this year), and ranks Ian Stewart 9th at third base. They state that he will be one of the best 3rd basemen solely on playing at Coors Field, is ANYONE else getting tired of hearing about Coors Field, what about Boston and New York???
I think the Rockies have one of the BEST outfielders in the Major Leagues...here is how FOXSPORTS sees them.
Hawpe Ranked #47 in the outfield
Gonzalez Ranked #52 in the outfield
Fowler Ranked #66 in the outfield
Put this in perspective...Carlos Gomez hit 3 HR 28 RBI .229 Avg. is ranked #40 in the outfield, I would rather have Hawpe, Gonzo, Fowler, Smith, or Spilly any day before Gomez.
Foxsports.com places the Rockies starters at the following ranks:
Jimenez #17 (agree with)
DeLa Rosa #69
Cook #74
Brandon Webb, can be effective, but coming off a series of injuries last year to keep him winless and a 13.50 ERA is ranked #25, if you go off last years efforts DeLa Rosa I feel will have a better start and be much better and relaxed.
Foxsports.com states that Huston Street has Manny Corpas lurking behind him...REALLY, do they really watch the Rockies games or do they just make up stuff, take away Streets injury in September he was one if not the best this last year as a closer. I think he may have rushed himself back just a little too fast, he will redeem himself!
Rockies fans, keep posting on Fox, ESPN, MLB let the nation know there is more than Yankees, Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers and Boston fans out there
GO ROCKIES...let the debate begin!
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

My god, what.
All that plus putting Cook BELOW De La Rosa is just screwed up.

Cook
I like Cook, but De La Rosa is getting confidence and he is really got some nasty stuff, so I agree with De La Rosa before Cook, but maybe not so far down the list.
A Rockies fan living in St. Louis "Cardinals HELL" GO ROCKIES!

Things to remember...
They are probably looking at a 5×5 league, where the main contributors to their formulas are “sexy stats.” There is no contribution for defense, or any of the peripheral stats that we Rowbots love so much! In that context, I believe that most of it their rankings make sense (but yeah…that OMG LOLCOORZ stuff is getting old…)
