Brewers 7, Rockies 6: Rockies lose another game (it's just Spring Training)
Sorry about this being late. Jeff, your usual Saturday game wrapper, is soaking up the sun on a cruise through the Caribbean, and I didn't get off work until thirty minutes ago. Reading the official site's and Renck's recaps of the game, Jason Hammel pitched well in four innings of work. Matt Daley and Shane Lindsay provided solid relief, but AL Alburquerque and Andrew Johnston couldn't keep the lead for the Rockies.
Offensively, Matt Miller dazzled the crowd with a three-run homer, and Mike McKenry legged out a triple.
Split-squad games tomorrow for the Rockies against the Mariners and the D'Backs.

Note from ATF: I have hijacked Russ' game wrap and added a few photos I snapped today at the game. Nothing spectacular, but you definitely won't see these pics on tomorrow's Denver Post stories. Below, Hector Gomez gets ready to get plunked in the back in the top of the sixth in Maryvale, Arizona.
More follow after the jump.
Jason Hammel's delivery
Matt Daley in action
Chris Iannetta's toe tap (ineffective today)
He who hath power (Matt Miller) is but a wee man
The Ball
In case you missed it in the game thread and rockpile, I "caught" my first ever batted ball today - a batting practice home run off the bat of Dexter Fowler. I actually slid down a steep grassy hill to beat a lumbering Brew Crew fan to it.
(I realize I was giddy like a 5yo, but everyone remembers their first. I was just later getting to the party than most)

The only
thing I see missing right now is that the reply and actions buttons are missing the icons that are adjacent to them.

I think you're right
we lost all of those ‘Clint policy’ games (must take the first pitch, etc etc)
