You mean
all the brand new ones with no personality?

I agree with you DbacksSkins
We went to ST for the first time and I was so glad it was at Hi Corbett Field. The place was so friendly, the weather warm and the baseball great. I loved the way the players are so close. I was about 4 ft. from Todd when he caught a high foul for an out, right in front of us.! The fans were nice( even the Cubs fans when we had to sit on their side). Alot of bantar between us which was all in good fun. Because we were a family of 3 couples we found it cheaper to rent a house in the Catalina Hills area. The house was so comfortable and the bedrooms all opened out to a court yard with fantastic views of the desert. You live in a beautiful state . I hope the new field will be as enjoyable.
Oh?
Where in the Foothills, if I might ask?

Not offhand.
Google tells me it’s out at Ina and Oracle, which puts you at the border btwn the Foothills and the NW side. That’s like 3 1/2 miles west of where my parents live.
Nice place to rent.

It is the Wrigley Field of Spring Training Venues
It sure is a pain being incapable of finding a shred of shade, but man, I’m going to miss that place.

Fyi
Tracey Ringolsby reports that 85% of the seating at the new stadium will be in the shade. That is a real plus.:)
That was
a problem at TEP, too.
Although less so than HC, since TEP was aligned differently than almost all ballparks.

I can't believe that today is the last game
It’s really hard to believe. I am going to miss Hi Corbett so much. Sure, it wasn’t very comfortable, but it was home.
See ya
next year in Scottsdale.

Wow...
ST is almost over and I won’t be going to Tucson again. Thanks for the article DBS.

The pictures Andrew T. Fisher posted clearly show this.

We're actually
getting some Snakepitters together to attend the game on the 31st, since not only is it Dbacks @ Rox, but it’s the last ST game in Tucson — probably ever.
The last game at TEP is tomorrow, but it’s tough to get emotionally attached to TEP.

Plus,
I’m supposed to work both days, so I can hopefully miss some hours ONE day… but not both.
