So as we approach real baseball, I have to decide whether to plunk down $99.95 for MLB.tv so I can watch the games when I travel for work (about 25 weeks per year). It occured to me that putting those dollars towards a Slingbox ($156 on Amazon) so I can watch not only the Rockies, but also Avs, Nuggets, and Broncos might make more sense. In fact, if I added the sports package to my DirecTV package for $12.99/month, I could watch just about any sports event I want from anywhere I want.
But how well does Slingbox work? Any feedback? And any other brilliant ideas on how to watch the Rockies on the road?
