As much as I appreciate what Bud Selig has done for the sport's popularity and revenue... he really needs to quit messing with on the field matters. If you're going to play ball in an NL ballpark, you need to play by NL rules - simple as that. AL managers need to learn the strategy of playing NL ball, and NL managers need to adapt to the DH when they play in an AL park. Unfortunately, Bud's Special Committee on Whatever decided that they needed to make some sort of mark this year. I know they said "nothing is sacred", etc, but... can you honestly imagine seeing a DH at Wrigley Field? Chavez Ravine? Or in our home ballpark?
