Perhaps I’m misremembering, but I seem to recall Chuck Knoblauch being implicated in the Mitchell Report or some other steroid link.
I’d have one suggestion – Aaron Boone. Santo was a good pick, but Boone looked like he was legitimately on his way to being a star before his freak knee injury and heart problems.
I hate the Red Wings.
