Alot of people have made comments on the batting order and who should stay and who should go...I think we have one of the best set of hitters top to bottom. It's still early in the season with 115 games to be played. Players are still jelling together.
The NEW BATTING ORDER after the jump.
Starting with the top we change nothing Gonzalez and Fowler till we die. Start with great speed and power, plus a couple of guy who can sit there and foul away some pitchers. Then the big move up starts at #3 with Tulo, Hawpe, Olivo, Stewart, and Barmes. I now what you thinking where is Todd Helton
??? While this is my big plan. We move Helton to the #8 spot, he'll get even more walks because the pitching spot is next, and late in the game we could always pinch run for Helton. Plus Barmes would benefit form have Helton bat in behind him. You could also put in Seth Smith
I would love to have EY and Fowler at the top, the Gonzo, Tulo, Hawpe, Olivo, Stewart, and Helton. Gonzo would be awesome 3 thur 5 in the order. I would love Smith in the starting lineup, but love him even more late in games.
