The Importance of the Pitch Count
Not sure if this has been posted before. It's a fascinating article on the splits that pitch count induces. I'm sure he glosses over a lot of details, but it's a really deep subject for one of the stats guys. That is, unless it's already been covered before, and I'm late to the party.

I know there are data available on this subject in a wide variety, but this is a nice, straightforward telling of how much the count change impacts the batter’s likelihood of reaching base.
