Helton's Casper Rehab

Just like last night's live blog, the Casper Star-Tribune will be hosting another one tonight. This time should be a tad different, though, thanks to the arrival of Mr. Todd Helton.

We'll have video of all of his at-bats, plus live commentary/polls/analysis of the game. Stop on by and ask questions.

Lee Enterprises (company that owns the Star-Tribune as well as newspapers in several other Pioneer League cities) has created a pretty neat iPhone application. Go to the iPhone app market and search for “Pioneer.” It is titles “Pioneer Baseball,” I believe. It’s free and, in all honesty, really cool.

I picked up my tickets a couple hours after the Ghosts' office opened

the morning after the news that Helton was going to Casper broke… the girls working there said it was absolute chaos there all morning. A couple years ago we were at one of the games that the Ghosts set a single game attendance record. I am willing to bet that happens again tonight. It should be fun.

Good to see fundamental baseball gives the Ghosts the win

And of course Helton with the winning RBI. Great pitching performances by Campos (5.1 IP, 5H, 1ER) and Keitzman (3.2IP, 0ER, 1 inherited run scored, win) made this a 2-1 Casper win!!!

I have video of all of Heltons at bats plus several ABs by Dickerson and Adames. If I can figure out how to create a YouTube account I’ll get them up within the next 12 hours or so.
