Brad Hawpe to the Tampa Bay Rays

PrintI am sure one of the "official" resources on this site will soon be posting this, but MLB.com is reporting that Brad Hawpe is set to sign with the Rays. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100827&content_id=13984904&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb Mixed feelings for me. I hope things work out well for him there. However, I was really hoping he would go home to Fort Worth and re-unite with Clint Hurddle. First base for the Rangers really seemed like a great fit to me.

Pena SHOULD be gone next season but we still need to solidify right field.

i was hoping for the rangers as well. but regardless, at least he went to a contender. it will be great to see him in october.

the rays anouncers just talked about him for a little while
they mentioned his stats. and said he’s a nice guy. and that he’s left handed.
