Brad Hawpe to the Tampa Bay Rays
I am sure one of the "official" resources on this site will soon be posting this, but MLB.com is reporting that Brad Hawpe is set to sign with the Rays. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100827&content_id=13984904&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb Mixed feelings for me. I hope things work out well for him there. However, I was really hoping he would go home to Fort Worth and re-unite with Clint Hurddle. First base for the Rangers really seemed like a great fit to me.

Maybe he's the Ray's 1b of the future...
I here Tampa thinks Pena will be too expensive for them to sign

Very well could be
Pena SHOULD be gone next season but we still need to solidify right field.
Can’t wait to meet him.
