PrintI lurked around Purple Row for quite sometime before joining up and commenting. One of the things that really pushed me to become a member was the sense of community. Through our common bond of the Rockies and Baseball we are able to overlook so many other things in life that would normally keep us from becoming friends.
That first year that I started posting we had an offseason picture thread. A chance for us to put a face to the screen names. I really think it is helped keep things civil around here.
I count so many of you as my good friends, including some of you who I have never met or only met once or twice (Looking at you Russ and Andrews).
So to kick off this thread, I will share a couple of pictures of me.

Aww you're missing out..
some of the best hiking spots in the world are in Moab. There are cathedral-like arches towering over you. Delicate arch is one of the few places in the world that’s as impressive in person as it is in photographs.

Yes
the 1,033 cards I have of him indicate this. The shirt being autographed is a 2007 NL Championship Shirt that I got signed by almost everyone on that team and Helton was obviously a highlight.

As some of you know,
I’ve been vacationing. I took these today, which also happens to be my eigth anniversary.
The first is in front of the Palacio de Gobierno in Lima with my wife, kids, and mother-in-law.
The second is in front of the Catedral with some friends.
I hope that everyone is having a great holiday season. I was also in Mexico. I’ll be there on the way back too. But I didn’t have any pictures of me from there. Here’s some proof though.

Finally, this is purpleJerseygirl after she managed to get Huston Street’s autograph on her jersey. She managed to acquire the help of a young lady overflowing with cuteness to get the autograph for her. Huston wasn’t going to give any autographs as he had just finished his pregame warm-up, and the little girl called out, “C’mon Huston, she has your jersey!” As he walked over he said “Ok but only this one.”

Mostly a lurker, but do play in the PR fantasy leagues
I too am a avid disc golfer. Frisco course is awesome. Do you play locally ? You’ll catch me at Johnny or Birdsnest at least 4 times a week. Would be neat to play with PR peeps. Baseball and Disc golf have to be my two favorite things to do. PR disc anyone?

Yeah I play a lot locally. Play leagues up in Fort Collins – and just joined the Mile High club (Just moved to the denver area in October from Fort Collins) and will be playing more of the Denver courses. Now I play the Brighton course a lot just because of how close it is to my house. But I would be up for meeting some pr folks for a round or two somewhere!

I’m a member too. I play Johnny Roberts a lot cause I live close by. Always up for a tag game though. I’m on the course mostly during the week day. (not a bum) Rarely have good baseball convo on the course, sounds fun.

I don't consume
ballpark food while at the ballpark because I don’t leave my seat once at the ballpark because I could think of nowhere else I’d rather be than in my seat at a ballpark.

No hurry necessary
I get to games 1.5+ hours early. It’s just too much fun/relaxing to watch BP, take in the sun and enjoy myself (saves some money too).
/I get food before a game iff I’m really hungry but that doesn’t happen too often
