A few thoughts:
1. This is not anything even remotely resembling an Opening Day Lineup, the two exceptions being
Dexter Fowler and Jose Lopez. The only reason I don't say Herrera is because he's playing out of position. Were he at 2B and Lopez at 3B, I'd probably include Herrera.
2. I'm slightly surprised Matt Pagnozzi is still cruising with the MLB team. I mean, it kind of makes sense, given that Quadzilla is devastating MiLB camp, and Spring Training Needs Catchers. Maybe it's McK's 1.281 OPS to Pagnozzi's .517 that's confusing me. I think the real answer is Pagnozzi is out of options, and Mike McKenry has 2 remaining.
3. Despite the fact that I never want to see this lineup in real life, That Giambi-Twiggy-Stew-Lopez 4-7 has some thump. But it's a perfect combo though, see: Giambi BB, Twiggy BB, Stew BB, Lopez GIDP, Giambi scores! We'll score 9 runs a game!
