First, let me inform everyone that I am not placing a hard time table on what follows and that it will take me several months to get this done.

My best here at Purple Row came when I discussed history and History. You can find those examples here, here, and here. After several pokes over the last couple of months about it, it's time to start writing the magisterial history of Purple Row.

As most good ones do, historians like to thank the archivists who helped them research their work. And that's where everyone on the site comes in. I want you to offer links to events and stories (baseball or otherwise), memes, and anything else from the site since we first launched in April 2005. And when I finally get around to publishing this on the site, there will be, I hope, an extensive acknowledgments section.

From Rox Girl's 2006 call for everyone to get on board the Rockies train before they would take off for years of success to the dawn of the Andrew Martin era and everything before and after, it'll all be there. Plus I get to write about myself in the third person (though a decade ago in my high school's literary magazine I wrote that I didn't like referring to myself in third person. It made people wonder if that was a reference to my author blurb or my story about a lonely vampire).
