the Rockies signed a pitcher at an open tryout this spring
I think his name was Lucas Head. Then again, he was a second round pick as an outfielder and was in their minor league system until 2009 or so.

I'm in.
Haven’t played actual baseball since my early college days, but I might as well give it a go (except for the fact that I should probably lose about 50 lbs. first).
Just an average guy with exceptional hair. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you can play 3rd Base ...
… you’ve probably got a pretty good shot right now.
I'm gonna do it.

Jimmy Morris was signed in something like this
Of course he threw 98 mph. If there is any team out there who needs a 36 year old swing and miss hitter with 0 power, a rag arm and speed that is best measured with a calendar they will find me. No need for me to got to Casper on my birthday.
What if the hokey pokey is what it is all about after all????
I'll up the ante
Anyone makes the team, you can live rent free with me for the season at my palatial estate.
I'll add to this
If someone makes the team I will give you a free copy of my “purple row” print.

Well, I’m a pitcher and I throw left handed. Already ahead of the game. Now just got to juice the radar guns to make my 82-84 look like 92-94 and I’ll see you all in the Show.

I would absolutely love to try
especially since I don’t yet have a job.
