Wednesday night marked the opening of the second half of the Texas League baseball season. The Tulsa Drillers are one of the teams glad for a fresh start as the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies finished the first half by losing 13 of their last 18 games on their way to an overall 33-37 mark.
I sat down with Dennis Higgins, the play-by-play voice of the Drillers, to get his thoughts on the first half and the chances that Tulsa will return to its winning ways in the second half.
