Self taught and falling in love with this game is very easy to do, you can never hate it, and that is something that not one person can take away from anybody. The love of baseball and OUR COLORADO ROCKIES.

I am understanding you.
But you wouldn’t warm him up yet if he were going to pitch. We wouldn’t need him for at least a couple innings. Which is why him throwing in the bullpen at that moment likely had nothing to do with possibly pitching him in this game.
Well, I don't see why Cook wouldn't come in to pitch the 10th inning or something.

What surprises me the most about this
is that Cook is warming up in the 8th inning. Usually, if you are going to burn a starting pitcher who’s going to pitch in the next couple of days, you don’t start warming him up until you have no other option.

But you can do better than using 7 pitchers already, especially when one of them pitched 7 innings.

How do you get your kids to behave? Threaten not to take them to a Rockies game. They straighten up REAL QUICK.
