Annoying rain.
It took me TWO HOURS to drive home last night after work. It usually takes me 15 minutes. East Colfax and Park Hill looked like the freaking apocalypse had just occurred. Cars strewn about randomly, trying to get up onto a median….cars stalled out in flooded intersections…ambulances and cops racing around….

Silly Question:
If a PH comes up for the pitcher and a baserunner gets the third out during the AB, then that PH would still be burned because a pitcher would replace him and you’d have to use another PH the next inning right?

I got his autograph at a restaurant in Denver when I was a kid. I had a bunch of baseball cards I used to carry around with me – because I was cool like that – so our waitress pointed him out to me. She had orders not to let people know he was there, but she broke the rules for me, and Ellis graciously signed both a card of his that I had and my glove. It was awesome.

If you listen to him, he’ll work in a few references to people being “very happy” about a FG or “but a few folks out there would like to see them go for two”. The NFL specifically doesn’t allow announcers to talk about that kind of thing, but it’s almost always there..
