Any news on the Rockies draft picks?

Hello fellow Rockies fans,

Just wondering if anyone out in Purple Row knows about the Rockies draft picks this year and if they have all signed or not. I remember hearing something about the Rockies number one pick this year, Tyler Anderson, who hadn't signed yet, but I'm not positive on when I heard this.

On a side note, did anyone happen to read the interview with Dan O'Dowd that the Denver Post published maybe a week ago? I remember one quote specifically, where he was asked about the free agents the Rockies signed this offseason and if he regrets not pursuing Lance Berkman. To which he replied something that Jose Lopez couldn't hit himself out of a boat in the middle of a lake...

Given his terrible, pitiful, and mind-boggling draft choices, save for Tulo, and also the lack of making any impact whatsoever with signing free agents, is it time for O'Dowd to hit the road?

I recommend following the Draft Tracker on Rockiesroster.com, an incredible resource designed and maintained by members of our community, We’ll have to wait on O’Brien and Anderson until the Aug 15 deadline, most likely. The rest of the picks may or may not sign by then.

Not sure Dan O'Dowd can really regret not going for Berkman

considering he supposed DID go for Berkman. He made zero sense on this roster for the $7mil guaranteed the Cardinals gave him. It was a smart move not to match taht offer.
